God has made you so many promises. Promises that you look forward to and you anticipate the manifestation of those promises. And if we’re honest, we often wonder when it’s going to happen. It feels like it’s just taking too long. We keep going. We keep waiting. In the process, Satan plants seeds of doubt in our minds. You have to remember that from the very moment that the word is spoken, the devil begins to fight you and fight against the angels that are coming to bless you (Daniel 10:12-13). You begin to get weary. You lose your momentum. You feel as if you’re going to lose “the race.” But today, I want to encourage you to keep going! As you’re running, keep looking to Jesus. He’ll give you strength while you run and while you wait. (Isaiah 40:31) Don’t give up! It’s not time for you to break down…it’s time for you to break through!
Too many are having spiritual breakdowns. This is because when we’re going through, we tend to forget the promises of God. But I want you to remember that God cannot lie! It may be taking a long time but God has NOT forgotten you! (Numbers 23:19) And He can’t go back on His word! He’s going to come through for you because HIS NAME IS ON THE LINE! Listen, Hebrews 6:13 tells us that God made a promise to Abraham to do what He had promised. And since there was no one greater than Himself for Him to swear by, HE SWORE BY HIS OWN NAME! Don’t break down! God can’t let you down! If He lets you down, He fails HIMSELF! My God!!! He will perform JUST what He promised! God ALWAYS keeps His promises!
I declare by the spirit of God that your breakthrough is coming if you just don’t quit! Every chain will be broken! My mother ministered to me on yesterday and she didn’t even realize it. And I want to speak to you the same thing that she spoke to me. Galatians 6:9 – Don’t get weary in well doing! You are going to reap if you don’t faint. If you don’t quit. God is going to reward you for your faithfulness to Him. In the words of Dr. Linda Stennis, it is the DILIGENT that get the reward. We have a marathon runner in our ministry. Her name is Samantha. I’ve looked at videos and pictures of her as she runs. Breathing hard. Tired. Sweating. Seemingly exhausted. But she tells of how she feels once she reaches the finishing line. It’s a feeling of victory. A feeling of accomplishment. In the spirit, look ahead of you. Can you see the finishing line? Stay the course! Keep going! Your victory is just ahead of you!
Matters not how the enemy fights you. Matters not how far your victory may seem. I speak to you that it is not your end. You’ve come too far to quit now. Finish the race! 1 Peter 4:12 says “Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.” Go on through it! Your inevitable, unavoidable outcome is victory!
Until next week…..
